2. Payment is due by the first day of each month. If payment is not received on or before the fifth of the month, a late fee of $5.00 will be charged. If the renter has not paid rent plus the $5.00 late fee by the 15th of the month the renter will receive a $25.00 citation, issued by the Police Department, and may forfeit his or her parking spot. Payment may be made by mail or i in the Treasurer's Office, providing the payment is received by the due date.
3. Billing services is not provided to renters. It is the sole responsibility of the renter to make payment as it becomes due and payable.
4. Monthly renters will be responsible for notifying the Treasurer's Office of any change in employment, license numbers of their cars, telephone number, and home address, within five days of the change of any of the above information.
5. Before vacating a rental spot, the Treasurer's Office must be notified in writing. Any outstanding rent or citations must be paid in full at that time.
6. It is the responsibility of the renter t notify the Treasurer's Office of the make, color and license number of an illegally parked vehicle that occupies their rental stall.
7. Renters shell park only in the spaces assigned and may not park in any other rental stall. Should your stall be occupied by an illegally parked vehicle, please park in a public spot and notify the Treasurer's Office of the problem.
8. Monthly rentals are issued on a first come, first serve basis. If a renter wishes to occupy a rental stall in another lot/ramp, they shall be given priority at which time a space becomes available. IN NO EVENT SHALL A RENTER TRADE SPACES WITH ANOTHER RENTER.
9. Renters should be aware that any or all monthly rental spaces may be discontinued at any time. A minimum of 15 days notice will be given to notify renters that their lot or space has been closed to monthly rental parking.
10. Rental stall operations shall apply only between the hours of 6:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. on Mondays through Fridays.
11. Vehicles are not permitted to back into their rental stall for parking.
